hello
Dear TBC Team,
I’m just purchase a add on plugin from third party " fluent community add ons " such as:
- Directory
- Blog
- Documentation / Pages
- Events
If I use the TBC Community App, will these third-party plugins/add-ons work within the mobile app as well?
Specifically, I’d like to know: Which of these features are supported natively in the TBC app?
I want to make sure the features I build on the FluentCommunity website will also be usable in the mobile app.
Thank you!
Hi! I am using all ross plugins and i simply put events and directory as a url in a custom page. Everything runs smoothly for me.
Ioannis what about the ads plugin from ross?
Andre Gois looking for the answer too.
Ι really do not now. I have created custom pages only inserting the link to the app and everything runs smoothly inside the app. If you want for example your events to be shown you just put in the menu a new page and insert youcommunity . com/events and it can be shown. You can try the other things.
Basically what Ioannis said.
All of the core Fluent Community features are native screens in the app: feed, spaces, courses, messaging, profiles, member directory, notifications and so on.
Add-ons like Directory, Blog, Docs and Events are simple to add. In WP Admin → Menus, add a link to the web version of the page. It opens inside the app, full screen, and your members are already logged in.
If you want one of them to be fully native, the app is built for that with custom add-ons, the same way we built our Book Club add-on. These add-ons are mostly simple pages that load their data from the plugin's API, so a developer could likely build a native version in a few hours.
