Pull to refresh
Seems like pull to refresh doesn’t work anymore on the feed. Started when releasing the new animations.
Nick — before we chase it, we need to understand what "doesn't work" means for you, because pull-to-refresh can fail in a few very different ways and each points somewhere different. When you pull down on the feed:
- Does it not pull down at all — the list won't budge?
- Does it pull down and you get the spinner/animation, but the content never updates?
- Does it pull part-way and stick or freeze?
- Or something else?
Whatever's happening, a short screen recording of you doing it would tell us more than anything — if you can grab one, that's ideal. And let us know whether you're on iOS or Android, plus the app version (Settings/About) — that alone narrows it down a lot.
Some context on why this came up with that release: it was more than a visual change. Underneath the new animations we redesigned how the app's screens and navigation work — the earlier version faked the hide-on-scroll bars by stretching them over the content, which caused a lot of scroll and refresh quirks, so we rebuilt it properly with the bars floating over a real full-screen layout. Better foundation, but pull-to-refresh was one of the things affected, and we've been steadily fixing the knock-on issues since.
Several of those fixes went out as OTA updates, and our new 1.3.5 release bundles those same fixes in too. So the first thing worth doing is updating everything — the app from the App Store / Play Store and letting it take the latest OTA — and then seeing if it's still happening.
If it is, send over the recording, your platform and version, and which feed exactly (the main feed, or a space's feed?), and we'll dig straight in.
