Turn your phone sideways — the TBC Community App rotates with it.

Been heads-down since the Fluent Community 2.5.0 catch-up. The big one this round: responsive layouts are now wired through every screen in the app — architected in from the ground up, not bolted on as an afterthought. The part you'll actually use every day is landscape.

  • Rotate your phone and the app rotates too — read posts, watch videos, and type messages sideways without the app locking you back to portrait.
  • Landscape uses the extra width smartly — text caps at a comfortable reading width instead of stretching the whole way across, and feeds flow into columns instead of one stretched-out list.
  • Messages goes two-pane when there's room — conversation list on one side, the thread on the other, so a wider screen actually shows you more.
  • One smart sheet everywhere — menus and pop-ups slide up from the bottom in portrait and in from the side in landscape, automatically.

And because it's built this way from the ground up, it scales all the way up to tablets, foldables, and desktop too. But the everyday win is just turning your phone.

Under the hood, a security + reliability pass you'll feel without seeing:

  • Stay logged in across all your devices. Phone, tablet, and laptop each get their own secure session and push token now, so notifications land on the right device and you're not getting bumped out by a flaky connection. Refresh tokens rotate automatically behind the scenes, and we raised the per-account device limit way up.

This one required a new build so it should show up in the store soon! Google is usually very quick apple can take a day or two.

Dang man...I 100% thought I was going to use LazyCoders for my community, but you are on top of this and changing my mind.

Kyler Boudreau Lazycoders is def a good starting option but that's barely in the same category :-) Ours is more akin to the Buddyboss app, that is a real app. Lazycodes is a shared app where you just scan a QR code to add your community but your users still go download lazy coders app not yours.

How big is your community? We are offering some managed plans monthly vs buying the dev bundle. Dev bundle is still the way to go if your looking to create your own customizations but for most people the managed cheaper option is plenty.

James William Elrod hey James, yeah I didn't mean the Fluent Community app from LC but Appza. Unless Appza is the same. Either way, they're really late on delivery and I like the sound of your app and how you stay on top of things. Favor: where do I purchase the dev bundle for your app? On the purchase page I'm only finding add-ons.

Kyler Boudreau we are revamping a bit, if you click our software it's the top link. That's the managed version though. The dev bundle is more if your looking to heavy customize or even build apps for your own clients. If you just have one community the managed version is probably a good fit. I'll be back around next week out of town for a few but can answer questions on both. With the managed we only take on (on board) a few at a time as getting everything approved in the store can take some back and forth especially with apple. If to can send me more info on your community and your goals I can let you know which option is best fit.

James William Elrod cool, thanks man. I run an online film school and need my own app for that. Don't want some vanilla type setup with QR codes and such. That's confusing for students. I need a branded app for it all. But I'm doing Fluent Community as the LMS as well. Nothing really outside of that.

James William Elrod okay I finally went to the "Our Software" link and see it now. That never caught my eye for whatever reason, but now it all makes sense. Right on. I have two FC communities. One is my film school and the other is just people who like behind the scenes on films. Is there a two app discount of anything like that? Thanks!
